Its time to vote Van Zandt County!

If our government is to serve the people, be of the people, and be for the people, then PEOPLE have to show up and VOTE! Our country, state, county, cities, and schools need YOU to do your part by voting.

The general election will be held on Tuesday, November 5th.

However you can VOTE EARLY at the Van Zandt County Library, 317 First Monday Lane, Canton Texas 75103 on the following days and times:

  • 10/21/24-10/25/24 (Monday - Friday) 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

  • 10/26/24 (Saturday) 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

  • 10/27/24 (Sunday) 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

  • 10/28/24 - 11/01/24 (Monday - Friday) 7:00 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Prefer to vote on election day on Tuesday, November 5th and don't know where to go? No problem...VZ Legal has you covered.

Step 1: You must be registered to vote at least 30 days prior to the election. To find out if you are registered, simply click on the following voter portal link and enter your information in the "Am I Registered" to find out if you are registered to vote. Voter Portal

If you aren't a registered voter, you will not be able to vote in the upcoming November 5th election. To find out more on how to become a registered voter, click HERE.

Step 2: If you are a registered voter, then note your assigned precinct number from the previous step. Then, click HERE to find your polling location for your specific voting precinct.

Step 3: Show up at your assigned polling location with a valid photo I.D. and cast your vote! Its that simple.
