The general election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. However, early voting in Van Zandt County starts today! VZ Legal has all the info you need on when, where, how, and what to expect when casting your vote.

The general election will be held on Tuesday, November 5th.
However you can VOTE EARLY at the Van Zandt County Library, 317 First Monday Lane, Canton Texas 75103 on the following days and times:
10/21/24-10/25/24 (Monday - Friday) 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
10/26/24 (Saturday) 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
10/27/24 (Sunday) 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
10/28/24 - 11/01/24 (Monday - Friday) 7:00 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Step 1: You must be registered to vote at least 30 days prior to the election. To find out if you are registered, simply click on the following voter portal link and enter your information in the "Am I Registered" to find out if you are registered to vote. Voter Portal
If you aren't a registered voter, you will not be able to vote in the upcoming November 5th election. To find out more on how to become a registered voter, click HERE.
Step 2: If you are a registered voter, then note your assigned precinct number from the previous step. Then, click HERE to find your polling location for your specific voting precinct.
Step 3: Show up at your assigned polling location with a valid photo I.D. and cast your vote! Its that simple.
